Dr. Rosemarie Strong

Dr. Strong is passionate about the veterinary profession and the tremendous impact it has on the happiness and welfare of people. She is one of 2 veterinarians who represents Oklahoma in the American Veterinary Medical Associate House of Delegates. Dr. Strong has been practicing since 1989 and was recently named 2020’s Veterinary of the Year. She is the proud mother to Maria and Nicholas, and Sita (grandmother) to 4 wonderful grandkids.

In her spare time Dr. Strong partners with the Mabel Bassett Women’s Correctional Facility. This program partners inmates with dogs to train for service work. Here she assists with the care of the dogs in the program and provides veterinary education.

Dr. Strong loves to run, rock climb, and golf. She is a diehard OSU fan and has 2 dogs, 1 cat, and 2 horses (all rescues)
